Position Objective

 

To ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time, while complying the with the relevant laws as well as maintaining accurate records.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

 

  • High volume payroll processing, 1000+ employees per fortnight
  • Provide a high level of customer service to relevant payroll
  • Payroll queries
  • Payroll journals
  • Lodgement of returns/surveys as required
  • Engaging with multiple senior stakeholders, regulators & relevant authorities
  • Provide support to the whole of Allambi on payroll related matters.
  • Adhere to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure all AC policies and procedures are always followed, and any changes are adhered to

 

Minimum requirements (Essential Criteria)

 

 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in payroll or a finance/bookkeeping role
    Attention to detail
  • Well-developed customer service and communications skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change in a growing organisation
  • Working knowledge of awards (SCHADs award desirable, but not essential) plus superannuation and workers compensation processing.
  • End to end payroll experience ideally within a NFP or community sector (desirable).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (desirable)
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated

  • Current NDIS Worker Check: (can be obtained via: https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/ndiswc-apply)                               
  • National Police Check (this must be obtained via: https://www.employmentscreeninggroup.com/au/allambi/)                                          
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module (can be accessed via: https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/)
  • Willingness to participate in pre-employment medical checks   
  • Two professional references
