ABOUT THE ROLE The Support Worker plays a vital role in fostering a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for individuals living with disabilities, children, and young people in the care of Allambi Care Through tailored person-centred active support, this role empowers participants and young people, including those with complex needs, to develop daily living skills, engage in community activities, and build their capacity for greater independence and inclusivity, ultimately helping them achieve their goals. Your daily tasks can include: - Building a relationship with the people you are caring for.
- Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needs, including personal care.
- Administering medication.
- Transporting the people in our care to and from school, day programs and appointments.
- Assist in the implementation of programs designed for the development of the client.
- Report writing.
