ABOUT THE ROLE As a Support Worker, you will be one of the most influential people in your clients’ life. Your role will be diverse and challenging and will involve direct care for clients in settings such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centres and emergency accommodation. Your daily tasks can include: - Building a relationship with the people you are caring for.
- Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needs.
- Administering medication.
- Transporting the people in our care to and from school, day programs and appointments.
- Assist in the implementation of programs designed for the development of the client.
- Report writing.
